I started therapy with Clarity in November to treat plantar fasciitis which I had been battling for one year. After unsuccessful steroid injection therapy, my physician recommended physical therapy. I researched therapists in the area and was impressed with the reviews and holistic approach Clairty takes with patients.  My therapist Jay Ruben was absolutely phenomenal. He was patient, insightful and so knowledgeable in treating my issue. After two months, my symptoms were substantially eliminated and we determined I no longer needed therapy. Unfortunately, after two weeks of being therapy free, I unfortunately injured my back during a personal training session and aggrevated a herniated disk and bulging disk issue. I immediately returned to Clarity and Jay for help. The pain I was experiencing was indescribable!  Jay and the Clarity team immediately tended to my issues and got me back on my feet in short order! After 4 weeks of therapy twice per week, my symptoms and issues have been completely resolved! I cannot speak highly enough for Craig (owner) and his entire team. From the moment you enter their facility, the desk personnel treat you with such kindness and their follow through with appointment reminders and scheduling is impeccable! I have referred a close friend who has battled chronic back issues for years to Jay and Clarity. He started therapy with them a few weeks ago and like me, is already experiencing great improvement. I’m working with the ultra-talented, owner Craig Mawdsley on a hip pain issue. My orthopedic diagnosed it as bursitis and prescribed PT. Craig diagnosed it at my initial consult as referred pain from my arthritic back.  He used dry-needling and I finally felt some relief. Yesterday I went to a recommended sports doctor at Shirley Ryan downtown for another opinion. He confirmed Craig was correct and advised to continue with his treatments. Some years ago, I was involved is a very serious automobile accident. As such, I am no stranger to PT (Physical Therapy).  So, when my Primary Care Physician recommended PT for a recently diagnosed arthritis condition, I started my research by asking friends and family for referrals.  Even though Clarity was in the lead by far at this point, I developed a list of the top three and visited each of these facilities - just so I would have my own firsthand knowledge of equipment and personnel.  Obviously, I chose Clarity.  From the moment I entered the Clarity facility I was met with a professional and friendly greeting.  They treated me as a person, not "number".  The "introduction /case history interview" meeting was thorough and comprehensive.  I started treatment immediately after that initial meeting.  There was a marked improvement with range of motion and pain reduction even after the first visit.  At the beginning of each subsequent session, I was always asked “how is it feeling, any changes”, etc. They listened to my replies and administered the appropriate treatment. And speaking of treatment, the Clarity staff always demonstrated their exceptional skill level and comprehensive command of Physical Therapy at every visit.  In short, I would use them again and highly recommend them to anyone. What a great overall experience!! The laid back and friendly environment was perfect for me to relax and enjoy my therapy. Going from minimal movement and pain constantly in my jaw I was stuck literally. After the first session I was amazed by the way I was able to move my jaw like I haven’t been in years. Craig, Ellen and the entire team at Clarity are absolutely the best. They listen to what the problem is and come up with a plan to fix it.
